Lawrence A. Schiff, D.M.D.
General Dentist
Dr. Lawrence Schiff has been practicing cosmetic, reconstructive, implant and general dentistry since 1980. After spending six years on the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania Dental School, he entered full-time private practice with the goal of assembling Philadelphia's finest team of specialists to provide the best dental care possible.
Having been awarded the prestigious designation of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry in 1998, Dr. Schiff is also an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry,the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Dental Association, the Montgomery-Bucks Dental Society and the Philadelphia County Dental Society.
Dr. Schiff was recently named one of "America's Top Dentists" by an independent review board, a Philadelphia "Top Cosmetic Dentist" by Philadelphia Magazine and named to "Who's Who in Science and Engineering".
Away from the office, he and his wife, Susan Zemmel, D.M.D., a practicing periodontist in their joint office and in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, enjoy skiing and traveling with their teenage children, Chelsea and JD. Dr. Schiff also enjoys coaching youth lacrosse and playing golf.

Susan Zemmel, D.M.D.
Periodontist
Dr. Susan Zemmel was originally from New York. She completed her undergraduate education at Vassar College with a degree in Biology. She moved to our area in 1981 to pursue her dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania and went on to earn a Certificate in Post-doctoral Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania as well. She fell in love with Philadelphia and never left.
Since beginning dental practice, she has completed thousands of hours in continuing education, with an emphasis on Dental Implant. She has devoted more than 21 years to developing a Periodontal practice which combines science and technology with personalized care. She has been named "Top Periodontist on the Main Line" by Main Line Life Magazine, an honor given by her peers.
Dr. Zemmel has been married to renowned Cosmetic Dentist Larry Schiff for over 23 years and is the doting mother of a 20 year old daughter and a 17 year old son. Outside of the office she is involved with the Vassar College alumni admissions office as an interviewer and as an advocate for children in the foster care system. She also enjoys reading, gourmet cooking and skiing.

Jonathan Rothbart, D.M.D.
General Dentist
Dr. Jonathan Rothbart graduated from Brandeis University in 1972. After teaching middle and high school in Greenfield, Massachusetts, he attended Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, receiving his D.M.D. in 1982. He continued his education with a General Practice Residency in Philadelphia at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry in 1987, and has been in private practice since 1983 in the greater Philadelphia area. Dr. Rothbart has been on the faculty at Thomas Jefferson University, Temple University School of Dentistry, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He is currently Associate Professor in Residence in Clinical Sciences at the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Rothbart enjoys music, skiing and photography in his spare time.
Jill Zurek, D.D.S.

Dr. Jill Zurek, "Dr. Jill" to her patients, is originally from upstate New York. She received a B.S. in Biology from Siena College in Loudonville, New York. Dr. Zurek received her D.D.S. degree from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. She served as Chief Resident at the Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo and received a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. While in residency, she taught Pediatric dentistry to dental students and continues to participate in ongoing research in Pediatric conscious sedation with the anesthesia department of Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo. She is a diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, receiving her Board Certification in Pediatric Dentistry in 2008.
Dr. Jill enjoys hiking and spending time with her husband, Mike and her dog, Sadie, reading and traveling.
Richard Titlebaum, D.M.D.
Endodontist
Dr. Richard Titlebaum was born and raised in Pittsburgh. He received a B.A. in Economics from Haverford College. Dr. Titlebaum received his D.M.D. from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Titlebaum then serves as an Endodontic Resident in the I.B. Bender Division of Endodontics at Albert Einstein Medical Center. He received a certificate of Endodontics and returned a year later as Clinical Attending Staff at Einstein, where he continues to teach to this day. Dr. Titlebaum has had the additional responsibility of training the residents in their first introduction to Nickel Titanium rotary instruments.
Dr. Titlebaum has guided and participated in numerous research projects at both Harvard and Einstein. Some of the projects have looked at radiograph angulation, apical extrusion, and the effectiveness of MTAD.
Dr. Titlebaum and his wife Joanne have traveled extensively through Central America and South America, visiting many Mayan ruins and the Galapagos Islands.
He is an avid squash player and enjoys hiking and gardening.
